Dr. Greger is a graduate of the Cornell University School of Agriculture and Tufts University School of Medicine. He has written books on mad cow disease, bird flu, and the dangers of low-carb diets. Dr. Greger is the Director of Public Health and Animal Agriculture at the Humane Society of the United States, and he maintains the site NutritionFacts.org, where you can find short videos on virtually every nutritional topic. He speaks to wide acclaim at Vegetarian Summerfest every year.
Every year Dr. Greger reads and analyzes thousands of nutrition studies from around the world, and distills them into this yearly Nutrition Update, which is presented in a lively interactive quiz show format (with prizes!). This is an extremely fun and funny don’t-miss event (ask those who have seen Dr. Greger’s presentation in previous years). Another spoonful of sugar!
