Support Underserved Mental Health Clients with Vegan Food
Help Feed Our Community During the SNAP Shutdown and Beyond!
Thousands of Rochester’s most vulnerable residents are facing the sudden loss of SNAP benefits due to the government shutdown. Among them are participants in Ventures PROS, a mental health recovery program of Rochester Rehabilitation that helps adults live healthy, balanced, and meaningful lives.
Many of these individuals rely on SNAP to buy groceries each month. With benefits suspended, they are deeply anxious about how to put food on the table—for themselves and their families.
The Rochester Area Vegan Society (RAVS) is responding by raising emergency funds to purchase vegan groceries for Ventures PROS members in need. Your donation will go directly toward food purchases, ensuring that people receive healthy, compassionate, plant-based meals during this crisis.
Every dollar makes a difference, and no administrative costs will be deducted. Together, we can demonstrate the power of community care and the deep connection between compassion for people, animals, and the planet.
The need is urgent—and the opportunity to help is now.
Please give what you can to help keep our neighbors nourished.
RAVS is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
